We’ll start by learning about exfoliating. Then we’ll talk about how to properly exfoliate as to not cause skin irritation. Finally, we will share a few of our products that work perfectly for any skin type.

So, what is exfoliating?

The skin has many layers; its top layer gets renewed every 28 days. Exfoliating is the act of helping the skin renew itself in the healthiest way. Removing dead skin cells will help you reveal a brighter, more radiant, silky-smooth skin.

How do you properly exfoliate?

There are 2 types of exfoliating: a physical one, that you can do at home, and a chemical one, which requires you to put acid on your face and let it dissolve the dead skin away. Chemical peels are usually expensive and might cause skin irritation if not done properly. For this reason, we will focus on physical exfoliation.

Physical exfoliation requires either a loofah, a wash cloth, a sponge, or a brush and a scrub that contains exfoliating particles.

Apply the scrub on your body or on the dry areas that you wish to exfoliate and massage your skin to remove dead skin cells.
