Maintain Your Skin After Exfoliation

In a previous article, we discussed how to properly exfoliate your skin. However, you should know that doing that on its own won’t provide you with results that you are hoping for. Before we get started, if you don’t know how to properly exfoliate your skin, I recommend reading this article before jumping to this one.

Our goal, when devoting time and money on skin care products, is to obtain a good complexion. What we mean by that is: a clear, visibly soft, bright skin and a luminous and unified complexion. Sadly, dead skin cells could stand in our way and make the skin look dull and saggy.

On the plus side, our skin regenerates itself every 28 days, even though many factors, such as aging, could slow down this process. In order to help our skin out, we exfoliate.

The exfoliating process possesses numerous advantages. It eliminates dead skin cells, accelerates cell regeneration, softens the skin, prevents pores from being clogged, and so much more. Exfoliating on a regular basis improves the skin’s quality and unifies the skin tone.

Yet, this process is not without its inconvenience! After exfoliation, your skin appears dry and flaky. Hydrating and nourishing your skin is key in preventing that.

In order to simplify the process for you, we’ve created a list filled with products that we recommend and that are great after exfoliation.

Perfect Glow Body Lotion: Formulated with vitamins C, E, & B-Carotene, this lotion retains moisture and intensely nourishes the skin.

Elixir Light Serum: With the Pro-Laser x3 technology, this serum prevents the reappearance of pimples and imperfections.

Cocoa Skin Cream: Filled with active hydrating ingredients, this cream intensely hydrates dry and flaky skin.

B.B. Clear Vitamin C Body Oil: Formulated with vitamin C, this oil is ideal for reinforcing the skin’s barrier and protects it from external aggressors.
